Tutorial: Pom Pom Christmas Wreath

I went a little 1970s with this one.

Supplies you will need to make your own uber kitschy classic pom pom wreath:

  • Cheap yarn in some delicious cheesy colours – I used some bulk red heart
  • Pom pom maker – because I am too lazy to make them without a pom pom maker
  • Wire wreath frame or whatever wreath frame you want – I went wire because it cost like $3 (see visual below)
  • Creepy vintage deer or other creepy vintage animals

Alright, let’s get started.

Step 1: Make a shitload of yarn pom poms.  When making the pom poms, make sure to keep a long tail so you can tie to the wreath frame.

Step 2: Tie pom poms onto wreath frame.

Step 3: Add creepy vintage figurines.  I didn’t attach them or anything, I just set them on the pom poms.

Step 4: Hang above your fireplace with care and love.  (added close up above of creepy deer just for fun)
